Any person, firm, or association violating any of the pro- visions of this ordinance shall upon conviction thereof in a summary proceeding before any Justice of the Peace be fined the sum of Ten ($10.00) Dollars for the first violat- ion thereof, a n d Twenty-Five ($25.00) Dollars for any subsequent violation thereof. And in default of the payment of such fine, the vio- lator shall be sentenced and com- mitted to the County jail for a period not exceeding thirty (30) days. Said summary proceedings shall be brought in the name of the Township. Proceedings for the vio- lation of this ordinance and for the collection of fines imposed hereby may be commenced by summons, at discretion of the Justic of the Peace before whom the proceeding is begun. No warrant shall be issued, except upon complaint on oath or affirmation specifying the violation théreof, All proceedings shall be directed to, and be served by a constable of the Township. ‘Costs may be also imposed upon violators. SECTION 10. If any section of this ordinance, or any part of any section, is determined by a compet- ent court having jurisdiction to be contrary to law, statute, or constit- ution and therefore void and no ef- fect, said determination shall in no way affect what remains of this ordinance; instead what remains of this’ ordinance shall he considered the act of the Supervisors as if the portion or portions voided were never a part of any ordinance.
