How parents can reason “it’s good for them, but not necessary for us,” is puzzling when indications are that parents and children who do families and form the basis worship together are happier for a better community. According to a report by Juvenile Judge Sam Tatum of Nashvville, Tennessee—o f the 46,000 juvenile cases he tried in Juvenile Court over a period of twenty-five years, only one family in every 2,700 problem cases at- tended religious classes or worshipped together as a family. Just seventeen families who took worship seri- ously were involved in all of the 46,000 trials. Statistics such as these families who do ‘‘worship together each week.” certainly speak volumes for Seeing that “they” go just isn’t enough. Here's one area in which participation by all members is called for. children the way to a richer, ing them in worship. ‘Shavertown WSCS To To 'Hold Dessert Lunch First meeting of the new year of Shavertown Methodist.
