The 1963 ‘Back Mountain Mem-
bership enrollment was concluded
on Monday, November 25. Merton
Jones, chairman, feels sure that the
goal of 200 members will be reached
as soon as all remaining cards are
returned by the workers, and wish-

Evangelists Dale and Opal Line-
baugh will conduct a Bible Crusade
at the Glenview Primitive Metho-
dist Church, Fernbrook beginning
Sunday December 8 and continuing
through Sunday December 15 night-
ly at 7:30. There will be a “Hymn
Sing” on Sunday at 2:30 to which
all are invited.
Following nine years in the pastor-
ate, the Linebaughs are now in
their eighth year as evangelists.
Mr. Linebaugh is a graduate of
the Practical Bible Training School
in Johnson City, N, Y. For two years
he attended the Keystone Junior
College in La Plume. Besides doing
evangelistic work, the Linebaughs
direct a Christian Youth Camp in
Spring Creek called Miracle Haven
Evangelists At Glenview P.M. Church
Ranch, where a Bible conference
during the months of July and Aug-
ust is held. For nine summers Mr.
Linebaugh was Director of Ranchos
De Paz, a Christian Youth Ranch in
Owego, N. Y.
The Linebaughs are talented mu-
siclans rendering solos, duets, and
trios with their children, accom-
panying themselves with electric
bass and Spanish guitars, a vibra-
harp and the piano.
In conjunction with the Crusade,
Mrs, Linebaugh will conduct meet-
ings each evening for children be-
tween the ages of four and twelve.

Trucksville Free Methodist Church
is praying and working for a mir-
acle in the month of December.
Continually rising prices have
pushed the completed costs of the
building to about $7,500 more than
available funds. Therefore, the con-
gregation is going all out to work
to raise that $7,500 during the
month of December,
Even the children are enthusias-
tic. Each child has been given a pic-
ture of the new church to remind
him to pray daily for the miracle
Month. Parents have been asked
to make it a special matter of prayer
in the home, and a group meets
on Saturday nights for additional
prayer. The children eagerly agreed
to give up their treat at the Christ-
mas program and instead of re-
ceiving candy, they all want to
bring a birthday offering for Jesus
to help with the new church.
The first Sunday of December
saw contributions totalling $651
for the new church from the 103
persons jammed into the small
sanctuary of the old church at 30
Carverton Road. The major part of
the $7,500 is expected to come
from the present membership, to-
talling 37; but it is hoped that
there will be some whose parents
attended this church in the past who
will make a gift to the church of a
pew or some other essential item
in memory of their parents.

Pastor Grove Armstrong reports
that interest and enthusiasm is
mounting as the building nears com-
pletion. The task ‘seemed so im-
possible to the small congregation
that until it actually began to ma-
teriaize in the form of wood and
stone it seemed beyond belief.. It
is hoped that it will be completed
by early February.

Rev. Wilfrid Hasbrouck has been
selected as Campaign Director for
‘the building fund, announces Archer
Mohr, clerk of Sessions of Trinity
United Presbyterian Church.
Rev. Hasbrouck, associated with
the Board of National Mispions of
the Presbytérian Church is familiar
with the Wyoming Valley area, hav-
ing conducted similar campaign
work in the expansion program of
Forty Fort Presbyterian Church in
October 1961.
Archer Mohr says that Sunday,
December 15, has been designated
for the Campaign which will be
conducted with the every member
canvass.
He also stated, “In order to fi-
‘nance the cost of our Building pro-
ject, we would like each one prayer-
fully and seriously to consider giv-
ing a minimum of 3 % of his in-
come per year to the Building
Fund over a three year period, and
a like amount or an additional 3%
to the General Budget for the fol-
lowing year. If this percentage of
giving is established throughout our
membershop, our finances will be
adequate and our program can be
expanded.
Archer Mohr continued, “The
prime ‘object of the campaign is to
get a committment for Time, Talent,
and Treasure from each family, so
that Trinity United Presbyterian
Church can take its rightful place
in the life of this community now
and in the years to come.”
