LUZERNE STORES PLAN

Luzerne has long been a favorite shopping center
for the Back Mountain residents.
This year, as in many
previous ones, plans are being made for another busy
Christmas season.
The stores are displaying many unusual items and:
their prices are well in line and often below those featur-
ed by the discount houses in the area.
Parking space is adequate, since Luzerne Bank has
provided a large area in the rear of the bank to accom-
modate shoppers.
Starting today, December 5, the stores will be open
every night until 9.

The congregation has been hold-

School since September 1961. The
church was granted a charter in
June of 1962 and purchased prop-
erty with the intention of building
in October of that year.
A building Committee was form-
ed in April 1963 and has been
working regularly in preparing plans
to meet the needs of the congre-
gation. Pastor Pillarella said, “ I
expect the church will move for-

this campaign on December 15th.
The response thus far has been a
real joy.”
