State game wardens caught three
men in two parties violating laws
hunting deer in Loyalville and Fair-
| mount Township with artificial
| light early Sunday morning, and a
total of $1,036 in fines was collected.
Admitting to killing a five-point
| buck and a doe, and shooting at
| another were: James Brown, Har-
~veys Lake RD 1, and John Smith,
{ Main Street, Noxen; they used car
headlights. Samuel Vanchiere, New
Brunswick, N. J., was caught near
Red Hill running deer with head-
| lights, in possession of a shotgun.
Both Brown and Vanciere have
had previous game violation con-
victions.

Bntique Store Moves
Antique lovers who have driven
to Evans Falls to deal with Robert
| Foote, will be delighted at his move
| to Beaumont, half the distance.
Mr. Foote has purchased the for-
mer Stone store in central Beau-
mont. He and his associate Mr.
Varner haves already moved most
of their stock to Beaumont. Today,
Friday, and Saturday, they will sell
off what has not been moved, at
the original location in Evans Falls.
Good chance for residents who an-
nually give antiques to the Library
Auction to replenish their stocks
in preparation for next Jully.

Legion Turkey Party
To Be Held Saturday
American Legion Post 672, Dallas
will hold its annual TURKEY PAR-
TY on Saturday Nov. 23, at 8 p.m.
at the Post Home on Memorial
Highway.
Commander George Cave, has an-
nounced that this is a change from
the previous years when it was
held on the Sunday before Thanks-
giving, ,and is looking forward to
a big party this year with hope
that all Legion members will at-
tend.
On the committee with. Comman-
der Cave will be: Bernie McDer-
mott, Gus Shuleski, Bill O’Brien,
Oravic, Leonard Harvey, Leonard
Daugherty, Curtiss Bynon and Dick
Fuller.
Public invited to attend.
