Mrs, George Pollock.is a surgical
patient at General Hospital, where
she underwent chest surgery on
riday morning, November 1, re-
maining on operating table for four
hours and twenty minutes.
Inasmuch as three stop signs have
been placed at Chase Corners, the
fourth should be placed on the cor-
ner of the State Highway leading
from the Lake Silkworth Road, as
the drivers on the Larksville Moun-
tain Road are under the impression
that they are entitled to proceed
across the intersection on the basis
of first arriving. With no sign on
the State Highway side, cars com-
ing down this road have the right
of way and naturally continue on
across the intersection, with the
result there have been some near
accidents. A stop sign on all four
corners would be much safer.
