Mre. Robbins has a deep love for her adopted com- munity. There were only three homes in sight when she took up residence in the Kingston Township community and the Lehigh WValley Railroad had just been installed through the region four years pre- viously. Born in New Columbus, daughter of William J. and Mary Ellen Robin- son Robbins, the nonagenarian se- lected as her mate, a man of the same name. Her brother likewise was christened William J. Robbins. Her husband, a well known con- tractor, passed away in 1955. Four children were born to the couple, two of whom survive: Robert E., Wilmington, Del., associated with Dupont Corporation and Mrs. Philip Anderson, White Plains, N. Y., em- grandchildren. | - Mr. Robbins is in fairly good health but bothered with a touch | of arthritis. A woman of diversified interests she is extremely well vers- ed in current events and a student of the Bible, her church affiliation being with Trucksville Free Metho- dist Church. Tucked away among her house- hold treasures are dozens of lovely quilts and rugs she has made in her spare time, enjoying this art with | crocheting and other types of hand work.
