Carverton The annual three point men’s supper was held at the Carverton Church last Saturday night with representatives from Carverton, Orange and Mt. Zion churches. Malcolm Baird, toastmaster, asked men to introduce their guests. He called on pastor Reid and Rev. Gil- bert also for a few words. Stanley Jones led group singing. Women of the Carverton church served the meal. Guest speaker was Robert V. Crosson, Y.M.C.A. secretary directing the Memorial Y.M.C.A. branch in Parsons and ‘the Back Mountain branch in Shavertown. Mr. Crosson outlined the many services of the Y.M.C.A. He said, “I have found the Back Mountain people the friendliest of any people anywhere.” When I told him my connection with The Dallas Post Mr. Crosson remarked how wholly cooperative the Dallas Post had been, all along.
