Services for Mrs. Blanche Ander-
son, 82, Elizabeth Street, Dallas,
were conducted from Bronson
Funeral Home Monday morning,
Rev. Norman Tiffany officiating. In-
terment was in Mt. Greenwood
Cemetery.
Mrs. Anderson, who died at her
home Saturday morning had been
im ill health for some time. She had
resided for many years on Hunts-
ville Road in the home now occupied
by the Warren Reeds, where her
i lovely flower beds attracted much
attention.
Her husband Harry, who died in
1935, was a former editor of the
Dallas Post when the newspaper of-
fice was located at the corner of
Norton Avenue and Huntsville Road.
Born in Lehman, Mrs. Anderson
was the daughter of the late Vin-
cent and Maryella Hoyt Hoover, She
was a member of Dallas Methodist
Church.
Mrs. Anderson is survived by two
daughters, Mrs. Edna King, Meeker
and Helen, with whom she resided,
head of the Guidemnce Department in
Dallas District schools, four grand-:
children and nine great grandchil-
dren; g sister, Mrs.
Dallas.
A son, Philip died in 1961.

Dallas Rotary is accepting appli-
cations for their Student Exchange
Program. Object of the program is
to afford one year’s study in another
country and further
friendship and goodwill.
Students must be at least 16 years
of age and not over 18 on arrival as
an exchange student and in the
upper third of their class scholastic-
ally.
Applications must be in to Dallas
Rotary Club by October 20 and are
available from the Club or through
