Mrs. John Montigney, former
Dora (Cadwalader, gave birth to
~ twin boys September 9 at Mercy
Hospital: Leroy Michael, 8 1b. 12 oz.,
and Willard William 7 1b. 5 oz.
Dora has four other boys borm a
year apart. She said she had two
this year to make up for last year,
as her youngest was two years old.
Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Allen,
Bethlehem, spent Wednesday after-
moon visiting and reminiscing with
Myrtle Miller. Raymond had been
a farm-hand for Bert and Myrtle
1914, and lived with them
i years im ‘their home on Sut-
ton Creek Road.
The honeymooners, Richard and
Barbara Strazdus, arrived home
Sunday, September 15, safe and
sound. On their return trip from
- Califommia they visited Ted and
Carol Montross in Texas and Mr.
and Mrs. Donald Strazdus in Alar
bama.
The happy couple has taken an
apartment on Main Street, Ashley,
until their new home is completed
in East Dallas.
A [Sunday School teachers’ meet-
ing of ‘East Dallas Methodist
Church, was held at the home of
Kintzer, Thursday
September 12. Plans were made
for Rally Day October 6.
Mr. and Mrs. David P. Alderson,
Demunds Road, and Mr. and Mrs.
John Anderson and som Bob have
returned from a’ /trip to Niagara
Falls and Canada. They stopped in
Ontario and Toronto, where thcy
rented a cottage for a week.
Their motor boat added real
pleasure to their trip; as they fished
on the St. Lawrence River.
Noort Morgan, son of Lucy Mor-
gan, was a patient in General Hos-
pit; last week. Hé was taken
early Friday morning in Franklin
Township ambulance
from what was at first believed to
have been a heart attack. We
thank God it wasn’t, and he will
soon be well again.
2 FARM ACCIDENTS
Raymond Rozelle, Orange, is
suffering from broken bones in his
| foot and a broken rib, after a
{ heavy farm implement fell on him |

at work on the Raymond Goeringer
farm. He has his foot in a cast
| and will be laid up a month or
more. We hope for a speedy re-
_| covery, Ray.
Raymond Moore, East' Dallas, is
getting around 6 with the aid of
crutches after being drug over
rocks by a calf he had on a rope.
He was lucky not to have a broken
leg.
Mr. and Mrs. Philip Culver, De-
mund Road, spent last weekend in
Jersey, where they attended the
wedding of Philip's cousin.
Chubby Cyphers was taken to
Nesbitt Hospital Sunday afternoon
where he will undergo a series of
tests,
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Scott, East
Dallas, and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur
Scott, Shickshinny, spent last week- |
end in New York City.
Mr. and Mrs. Russell Siley and |
granddaughter Hazel Morgan visited
their daughter Francis Harrison in
Stroudsburg ' Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Scott were re-
cent visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Rus-'
sell Scott, Loyalville.
Mr. and Mrs. ‘A. Lind, New
Jersey, amd Mrs. Raymond Shutt
and son Billie, Philadelphia, were
Sunday visitors of Walter Shutt
and Irene Moore. The Linds will
stay a few days.

Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Carlin
and daughter Marilyn, Snowshoe,
visited Myra Carlin over the week-
end,
Pfc. Sheldon Frantz son ‘of Mr.
and Mrs. Sheldon Frantz, Demunds,
celebrated his 20th birthday,
September 6. He also helped cele-
brate his parents’ 23rd wedding an-
niversary, and sister Lois Carol's
14th birthday.
Pfc. Frantz was home on a 30
day leave and leaves this week by
jet for California, then on to
Hawaii for a year. He has been
stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado,
the past 18 months.
Cindy Dymond, Gail Schoonover,
amd Barbara Kosek, have entered
Wilkes-Barre Business College.
Returns To Wheaton
William John Hughes, Goss Man-
or, has returned to Wheaton college
(Illinois) as a senior for the 1963-64
school year. He is a graduate of
Wheaton academy.
