Public Notice
The following ordinance will be
acted upon at the regular meeting
of the Kingston Township Board
of Supervisors to be held in the
Township Building on October 9,
1963 at 8 p.m.
An ordinance accepting as Town-
ship Roads certain roads in Kings-
ton Township, laying out and open-
ing the same as public roads of said
Township.
BE it enacted and ordained by
the Supervisors of Kingston Town-
ship, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania,
at a regular meeting assembled, and
it is hereby enacted and ordained
by authority of the same.
SECTION 1: That all the various
roads, situate in the plot lots known
as “Midway Manor” and more par- |
ticularly shown on a map thereof
hereto attached being, in the con-
sidered judgment of the Supervisors
of said Township, necessary for the
public conveniences, are, as and
when completed, graded and con-
structed in accordance with the
specifications for Township Roads
as the same have been or may, in
the future, be adopted by said Su-
pervisors, are hereby laid out,
adopted and opened as public roads
of said Township subject to the
conditions hereafter set forth.
SECTION 2: Before any of said
roads shall be finally accepted as
Township Roads, they shall be in-
spected and approved by the Road-
master of the Township who shall
file with the supervisors a certifi-
cate, certifying to the fact that such
inspection and approval have been
made by him and that said roads
comply, in all respects, with the
said specifications, The filing of
said certificate shall be formally
noted on the minutes of the next
regular meeting of the Supervisors
which shall constitute final adop-
tion of said road or roads, or the
portions thereof set forth in said
certificate.
SECTION 3: The provisions of this
ordinance are severable, and if any
of the provisions thereof shall be
held illegal, invalid or unconstitu+
tional the decision of the Court so
holding shall not affect or impair
any of the remaining provisions
thereof, it being hereby declared to
be the legislative intent that this
ordinance would have been adopted
if such illegal, invalid or unconsti-
tutional provision had not been in-
cluded therein.
SECTION 4: All ordinances or
parts of ordinances inconsistent
herewith are hereby replealed.
SECTION 5: This ordinance shall
become effective on October 14,
1963.

Supervisors of Kingston Township
held the 9th day of October 1963.

and ordained by authority of the
same:
SECTION 1: That the following
described road situated in Kings-
ton Township being, in the con-
sidered judgment of the Supervisors
of said Township, necessary for the.
public convenience, is hereby laid
out, adopted and opened as a public
road of said Township, as follows:
(a) Valley View Drive, Kingston
Township as more particularly
shown on map of “Property of
Henry Novak, Inc.” (Carverton Road,
Kingston Township, dated October,
1959, and prepared by John X. J.
Callahan, Civil Engineer, copy of
which is on file in the Office of the
Supervisors of Kingston Township.
SECTION 2: The proper, officers
of the Township are hereby author-
ized to advertise this ordinance and
to do such other things as are neces-
sary to be done in accordance with
the Acts of Assembly in such case
made and provided.
