Her first husband, Oliver Phebey, died 55 years ago, from injuries suffered in a mining accident. She later married William Chap- pell, who passed away in 1945. Mrs. Chappell is in fairly good health and occasionally visits her children im Philadelphia. She is a member of Shavertown Methodist Church. Visit To Nassau BA Dream Fulfilled Nancy Dungey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Dungey, James Street, Shavertown, returned Sun- day from a ten day trip to Nassau. Accompanied by a friend, Caro- line O’Rourke, Plymouth, Nancy flew from Idlewild, making the journey in two and a half hours. ' The visit to the Carribbean isle was the culmination of a long time dream and fulfilled ‘all expectations. The girls combed the beach, glistening in the hot sun, for lovely shells tucked among the sands. They visited all the churches, set in prim- itive beauty and were entranced by the Weaving Market, where tiny youngsters plied their craft along- side their elders. The pink flamingoes, obtaining their pink coats from a diet of shrimp, thrilled the visitors by their parade in formation, understanding every word their trainer spoke. The girls were fascinated by the gorgeous sunsets and found the tourist spot to be one of the most relaxing in the world. : On their return, they stopped at Miami, then back to New York City and home.
