Jeannie was happy to return to her adopted country after visiting relatives and friends she had not seen for more ‘than thirteen years. The visitors traveled to Wales and toured the many centuries old castles im the region, some now mounds of ruins of a once grand era and the habitat of the Tudors. Young Billy was much impressed with the Changing of the Guard at Windsor Castle and emtranced with the English sport of cricket. The town of London was thoroughly covered by the visitors and they were amazed to see how many of the blitz scars were dis- appearing in the rapid progress of new construction. Saint Paul’s Ca- thedral and Westminister Abbey were also on the list of ‘historic sites to be seen. The local group made the flight under the auspices of the Anglo- American Club, comprised of native Britons who have married Ameri- can citizens. Eight flights were sponsored by the girls this year, one hundred and twenty-five making the trip with Mrs. Duda, of which nineteen passemgers were children.
