Mrs. Henry Van Horn, the for-
mer Ida Hunt, Shavertown, is a
surgical patient in St. Joseph’s Hos-
pital, Baltimore, Md. X
Carol Exarhopoulos, Idetown, is
spending two weeks at Camp On-
awandah. Her grandmother, Mrs,
L. E. Beisel, Idetown, is up and
about again after three weeks spent
battling a virus.

rest Kunkle, of Kunkle, visited the
Kutztown Festival on July 4.

Vernon, Iowa, have returned home
after spending some time with Mr.

arson, Col. On the way, they
stopped to visit friends in Lawrence,
Mass. Specialist DeRemer returned

was stationed for 15 months as a
radio teletype operator with the
Military Advisory Group.

seriously + ill in Mercy Hospital
where he was admitted Friday.

setting Saturday aftermoon, July 6,
for the wedding of Rebecca Rose
Montross, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Carl = Montross, Sr., Noxen, to
Homer Charles Baker, son of Mr.
and Mrs, Albert Baker, Pikes
Creek.
The impressive double-ring cere-
mony was performed before an
altar banked with floral bouquets,
with Rev. Jack Peters and Rev.
George Clement, | officiating. Mrs.
Beulah Womer, aunt of the bride
was organist with Donald Rudolph,
cousin of the bride, soloist.
Given in marriage by her father,
the bride chose a full length gown
of silk organza over taffeta, with
fitted bodice, jewel neckline and
bracelet length sleeves. The bouf-
fant skirt featured a short train.
Her finger-tip veil of French illu-
sion fell from a teired crown. [She
carried white roses cemtered with
baby breath,
Matron of honor was Mrs. Carl
Montross, Jr. sister-in-law of the
bride. She wore an orchid bal-
lerina length gown of silk organza
over taffeta, styled with scoop

Mrs. Willard Garey, Executive
Secretary of College Misericordia,
is attending the national comven-
tion of the American Alumni Coun-
cil, Chalfonte—Haddon Hall, At-
lantic = City, New Jersey. The
Golden Jubilee of A.A.C. is being
observed at this conference which
convened on Monday July 8th and
will ‘end tomorrow.
Have Third Son
Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Susaraba,
Demunds Road, announce the birth
of a son, John Michael, weighing
9 pounds, 11 ounces on June 20 in
Nesbitt Hospital. Mrs. Susaraba is
the former Shirley Coleman, daugh-
ter of Mrs. Catherine Coleman,
Fernbrook, and ‘the late Mr. Cole-
man, Mr. Susaraba is the son of
Mr. and Mrs .Alex Susaraba, Ed-
wardsville. The couple have two

bride, Betty Lou Rudolph, ®Pine

that of the matron of honor, Betty
Lou wore yellow and Ellen, peach.
They carried bouquets of orange
delight roses.
Flower girls, Cindy Montross and
Rita Rosbach, wore matching
dresses of orchid silk organza.
Carl Montross, Jr. was best man.
Ushers were Claude Sorber and
Roy Gordon, Bloomsburg.
Mrs. - Carl Montross, Sr., mother
of the bride selected 'a dress of
pink silk featuring a matching
cumberbund amd lace jacket. She
wore white accessories with a
white rose corsage.
For her son’s wedding, Mrs. Al-
bert Baker chose a navy blue dress
with white trim and accessories.
Her corsage was of white roses.
Following the ceremony, a recep-
tion was held at the Idetowm Fire
Hall for approximately one-hundred
fifty guests, after which the couple
left for a wedding trip to Atlantic
City.
Both Mr, and Mrs. Baker are
graduates of Lake-Lehman High
School of the class of 1963. Mr.
Baker will enter Wilkes-Barre Busi-
mess School in the fall. The couple
are residing with Mrs. Baker’s par-
ents.

double ring ceremony and celebrat-
ed the Nuptial Mass.
The bride given in marriage by her
father, wore an "imported lace gowm
with fitted bodice and long tapered
sleeves, the Sabrina neckline out-
lined with re-embroidered iridescent
sequins and’ seed pearls. The bouf-
fant skirt of pleated lace -ruffles
and alternating rows of pleated tulle
was caught with: several cabbage
roses and ended in an aisle wide
cathedral train.
Her imported veil of English ill-
usion fell from a tier of seed pearls
and aurora borealis crystals. Her
cascade bouquet was of white car-
nations, stephanotis, and orchids.
She wore a single strand of pearls,
gift of the bridegroom.
Patricia Kutz, sister of the bride-
groom was maid of honor and Mrs.
Charlotte Travis, matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Marilyn Rondi-
nella, Carol Wujcik, Sherry Berkow-
itz, Margaret Abbruzzese, Patricia

A bridal breakfast and dinner
were held at St. Michael’s Hall,
Breslau, followed by an evening re-
ception. Couple left on a trip to Up-
per New York State. They are resid-
ing at Lake Silkworth.

All attendants were ‘attired in
floor length gowns of nylon sheer
and lace over taffeta, with fitted
strapless bodices and bouffant skirts
caught at the hip line with large |
sheer roses. Gowns were shaded in
powder blue, hot pink, nile green,
