award at the annual meeting of the
association om Monday morning,
July 15 on the campus of Pennsyl-
vania State University.
The local school administrator is
a past president of PAAE and a
member of its executive: committee

Summer showers greeted the Ide
Family as they met June 29th at
Wolfes’ Grove for their 60th annual
reunion.
Ninety-five relatives enjoyed the
covered dish dinner. By the time
the business meeting was called to
order by the President, W. Russell
Ide, the skies were clearing, and a
group picture was taken.
Minutes for the last meeting were
approved. The treasurer gave his
report. All officers were retained
for another year: President W. Rus-
sel] Ide; Vice-President Gilbert Ide;
Treasurer, Alfred Bronsom; Secre-
tary, Mrs. Marian Ide Cook. Assist-
ant secretaries, Mrs. Elmer Hoover,
Mrs. Clifford Ide, Miss Grace Ide.
Several letters were read from
those unable to attend. Greetings
were extended to Mr. and Mrs.
Daniel Brown on their thirty-first
wedding anniversary.
Prizes were given to the follow-
ing: Oldest lady present, Mrs. Ray-
mon Spencer, 76; oldest man, Peter
H. Parks, 76; oldest married couple,
