Miss Judy Searfoss, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. George Searfoss, R.D.
‘1, Harveys Lake, became the bride
of George J. Gutch, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Andrew Gutch, Oliver Street,
Swoyerville, on June 29, in Saint
Therese’s church, Shavertown.
Rev. Francis Brennan officiated.
Mrs. Marian O'dell was soloist and
organist was Mrs. Robert McDowell.
The bride given in marriage by
her father,
lerina length gown of pure silk
organza designed with a fitted bod-
ice of chantilly lace, bracelet length
sleeves and a ‘Sabrina neckline of
handclipped lace, highlighted with
seed pearls and sequins. ‘The skirt
featured a lace panel in front with
unpressed pleats “forming - a semi-
belle effect.
Her shoulder veil of imported
illusion was gathered. ta a double
| bow effect cap with a trim of lace
applique. -
She carried a ‘bridal
bouquet of white carnations and
rosebuds. 3
Nancy Oney, maid of honor, was
gowned in a peach organza over
taffeta sheath cocktail dress made
with a scoop neckline, empire bod-
ice and brief sleeves. The match-
ing tunic length overskirt was bell
shaped and fashioned with a tailor-
ed bow at. the front waistline.
She wore a matching circelet on
her head fashioned of flowers and
a cocktail length pouff veil. She
carried a bouquet of pink, green,
blue and white carnations.

Donna Smith wore identical blue

associated with ‘General Electric
Corporation at Utica, N. Y.

Has Graduation Party
Mrs. Ann Spencer, Main Road,
Sweet Valley, entertained at a din-
ner party Sunday June 23, honor-
ing her daughter, Karen Lee, a mem-
ber of the graduating class of Lake
Lehman High School.
The color motif was carried out
in Blue and Silver, Karen's class
colors. Centerpiece was a large ‘cake
decorated in blue and silver and
topped. with am academic hat and
diploma.
