Jean Duda And Mother
Plan Family Reunion
England will welcome three more
visitors from Dallas shortly when
Mrs. Peter Duda, Davemport Street,
Billy, aged three and a half, and his
grandmother, Mrs. Jennie Roberts,
Spring Street, will leave for a
month’s visit to their native land.
The trio will fly mon-stop to Lon-
don on Saturday. They will visit |
friends and relatives in North Wales |
and England, including on their -
agenda sightseeing trips to Windsor
Castle, Eaton College and the Lake
District of North Wales.
This will be the first trip back
home for Jean Duda simce she and
her mother immigrated here thir-
teen years ago. Mrs. Roberts re-
turned in 1955 for a visit to her
homeland.
The flight is being made under
the auspices of the Anglo American
Club, an organization of British
born women. There are six local
members. The group charters yearly
trips to the British Isles.
The former Jeannie Roberts be-
came the bride of Peter Duda, Dal-
las, eleven years ago. She is eager
to make the trip, expecting to see
many changes, for she left England
right after World War II when the
blitz had desolated much of the
countryside.
