County Hospital after suffering a
heart attack at Methodist Home for
the Aged: in Narrowsburg, N.Y. Her
many friends extend their heart-
felt wishes for a speedy recovery.

visited in Baltimore, Md., over the

‘Amos iSwire, Ruggles, remains in
precarious condition at Geisinger
Hospital, following a caf crash in
mid-May. He has been moved up-
sfedns to room 302, leaving the
Constant Care unit.
T. M. B. Hicks, Dallas, suffering
from malignancy of the brain, re-
. mains semi-comscious at Geisinger,
where he was admitted March 15
to the Constant Care unit, and four
weeks later transferred to the third
floor.
William Weber, Riverhead, Long
Island, and son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack
Weber, Mooretown, spent a week
recently visiting his parents.
‘Ann Barnes, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Jack Barnes, Elmcrest, is spend-
ing a week at the Presbyterian Camp

fortieth wedding anniversary on
Saturday.
Mrs. Dymond is the former Eltha
Evans, Falls. The couple were mar-
ried June 22, 1923, by Rev. H. M.
Kelly at Pittston.
The couple have nine children:

Bess Klinetob, Pikes Creek, was

Eighty Sixth Birthday
Adam H. Young, Lewis avenue,
Trucksville, celebrated his eighty-
sixth birthday, Wednesday, June 19.
Born in Unityville, he is the son
of the late Jacob B. and Martha Gen-
sel Young. His wife, now deceased,
was the former Georgia Daily, of
Carverton. He has one living daugh-
ter, Marian, who is a teacher in the
Dallas District Schools, with whom
he resides.
Prior to retirement, he was em-
ployed at Higgins Machine Shop,
He is very proud ‘of his "beautiful
garden, and enjoy raising African,
Violets and growing evergreen trees.
He ‘does some reading, and looks for-
ward to the Dallas ‘Post each week.

ward - Carey, Sunset Avenue, Shav-
ertown, in St. Therese’s Church.
Rev. Francis Brennan performed
the double ring ‘ceremony. Edward
Zaboski was organist.
The bride ‘who was given in mar-
riage ‘by her father, wore a white
organza ballerina ' length gown,
fashioned with ‘a "boat neckline,
three. quarter length sleeves and a
full skirt. A bolero style jacket of
white lace completed the ensemble.
Her nose length veil of illusion
fell from: a snug fitting petal cap.
She ‘carried a cascade bouquet of
white carnations, rosebuds and baby

Mary Lee Pantell was maid of
honor. She wore a blue gown
identical to that of the bride and
carried a cascade bouquet of pink
carnations, roses and baby breath.

of the bride's parents with an even-

Shavertown Methodist Church par-
onage by Dr. George Place. They
were attended by the Misses Adel-
aide and Larissa Place.
Mrs. Bell is the former Anna Hub-
. bell, daughter of the late Frank and
Etta Hubbell, Noxem and Shaver-
town, and was born in Noxen. Her
father founded the Shavertown
Lumber Company.
Mr. Bell is ‘the som of the late
Corey and Lillian Wood Bell, Center-
moreland. Prior to retirement he was
supervisor of O’Malia Laundry.
The couple has one daughter, Mrs.
Marjorie Allen, Shavertown, who re-
sides with them and two grand-
children, Robert and Judy Allen,
Shavertown.
The Bells attend Shavertown Bible
Church. Mr. Bell is active in the
Christian Businessmen’s Committee
of Wyoming Valley, of which he is
past chairman.

16, honoring their daughter, Karla
Penman, a member of the graduat-
ion class of Lake-Lehman High
School. Color motif was carried: out
Centerpiece was a large cake, iced
in blue with a silhouette of a gradu-
ate outlined in silver. Attending
were the homoree’s grandparents,
Mr. and Mrs. Harry L. Martin; Mr.
and Mrs. John J. Martin, Catherine,
Jackie and Lorraine Amn; Ralph L.
