Four Kingston boys, three 14 and one 13, were referred to juvenile authorities, and subsequently re- leased when the owner of a motor- boat they took for a ride Monday afternoon decided mot to press charges. 'Boathouse was at Point Breeze, Pole 236. ~ Two Wilkes-Barre boys and one Binghamton boy, who had been confined at an Elmhurst, N.Y. in- stitution, and who ran away to Harveys Lake and “broke into five cottages at Warden Place early May, _ were announced detained by Lake ‘police last week. One cottage, owned by Mrs. Let- tie Matthews, was damaged by an estimated $500. Three Harveys Lake boys were taken into custody for blowing apart several mailboxes at Point Breeze with cherry bombs early ‘May. Boxes belonged to Harry Baicker and Santo Volpe, Jr. Case was referred to Wilkes-Barre postal inspector. The Kingston boys borrowed the boat, crossing the wires. They told police they thought the boathouse and contents belonged to their uncle, who, according to police has ~ not owned the boat in four years. Present owner is Paul Israel, Wilkes- Barre.
