Township School District, Luzerne
County, Pennsylvania, intends to
pass a resolution on the 7th day
of June, 1963, imposing a Five
($5.00) Dollar per capita school tax
under ‘the authority of the Act of
June 25, 1947, P. L. 1145, and its
amendments. The reason for this
tax is the increased cost of opera-
tion and its static condition of
other revenues. It is estimated
that said tax shall produce a rev-
enue of $3,400.00 during the fiscal
