Mrs. Ellen Bruderly of Harris- burg spent the week-end with Mrs. Minnie Sutton, Sutton Road, Trucksville, Carverton One source of news has begun to impress, this correspondent with considerable interest. I refer to the monthly meetings of the Pairs- and-Spares class of Carverton church. What interests me is the plan the members have of not leaving their talk just go helter- skelter. They do have a lot of friendly bantering and exchange of news among themselves,” probably, but they have a subject of discus- sion nearly every month too. The meeting April 4 concerned the meaning of the Sunday morning worship services and its outstand- ing value as a weekly proclamation of the Good News of the gospel as contained especially in the creed, something more than a routine re- cital, and a sounding forth of the Church’s proclamation. After dis- cussing it this way the members will probably be thinking more JUST ONE CALL STARTS AUTOMATIC DELIVERY We watch the weather for you, make sure you get fuel delivery when you need it . . automatically. Mrs. William R. Hughes has re- covered from a virus attack. Kingston Township section of Sutton Road is in a deplorable condition, causing residents who live along this road to enter from the Huntsville Dam in order to avoid damage to their automobiles. Kingston Township Supervisors say the reason for doing nothing about it is that they do mot know what grade will prevail when the new highway is built. To the residents along this road this seems like a mighty poor excuse as the State Highway Department would show the grades on their blueprints for the new highway. But of course, most of the residents along this road are Jackson Township tax- payers obliged to go over a Kings- ton Township Road to reach their homes. Denise.
