of Bedrock from ‘Fred.”
Meeting To Be Held

Auxiliary will meet, April 8, at the
Fire Hall. Hostesses are Mesdames
Alger Shaffer and Eugene Lavelle.
Plans will be completed for the Spa-
ghetti Dinner, Wednesday, April 17.
Serving will start at 5 p.m, and will
be held at Idetown Fire House. Mrs.

beth Street, Dallas, celebrated their
fifty-second wedding anniversary, at
a family dinner, March 30th. There
were three children, two dying in.
childhood and a son, Alfred G. Davis,
who is on the faculty of Morgantown
Jointure High School. The couple’

Mrs. Davis is the former Eleanor
Williams, daughter of the late Mr.

mouth. Mrs. Davis has one living

Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Davis, Plymouth.
He has a brother Walter Davis,
Davenport Street, and a sister, Mrs.

Is a teacher in the Reading Schools.
They have another son, Gregg, who
will be two in May. Mrs. Naugle .is
spending some time ‘at the Kuczawa
home caring for the family,

was employed as a janitor with the

twelve years.
They are members of Huntsville
Christian Church.
Although she is a shut-in herself,
Mrs. Davis brings much happiness to
other shut-ins, by sending cards to
them on birthdays and special oc-
casions.
This anniversary ceelbration is
combined with the observance of Mr.
Davis’ birthday.

McGovern On Dean's List
Robert McGovern, according to a
letter received recently by his moth-
er, Mrs. Emma McGovern of Har-
veys Lake, has made the Dean’s List
at Delaware Valley College of Sci-
ence and Agriculture at Doylestown.
Mr. McGovern, a 1958 graduate
of Lake-Lehman High School, is a
sophomore majoring in inorganic
chemistry. In addition to his college
courses, he carries a full-time night
job at Precision Tube, North Wales,
where he has been working since
graduation from high school. His
wife is the former Sandra Engelman
of Noxen. Mrs. McGovern teaches
Junior High School in Newtown.
