Orange Well, news getting — let's see, who was it called me Nosey, or something — sorta gets one ac- quainted with more people as well as renews old memories. I met a Donna Gordon the other day and found she belonged to a family at Orange that wasn’t there back in my day. Found out there were ten children! Should be some news there. Nope! No news. But in talking with Mrs. Eugene Gordon I found a woman who thinks she has a very nice family, 7 girls, 3 boys, and she likes them! And they're all living at home along with father and mother, I gathered it was a happy famiy. Now that is good news to find people like that. Then here’s something that re- minds me of the Perrego family. Ruth was reading me the news that the District W.S.C.S. is meeting in | Tunkhannock, and that the presi- dent of the Tunkhannock W.S.C.S. is giving a word of welcome to the district. Who's- the president? Mrs. Richard Sands. I remember little Dickie Sands, Jim and Mildred’s boy. He married Donna Perrego of Orange. Her grandmother reminded me one day that Donna clung to my brown forelock when I was baptizing her. Now she’s welcoming Wilkes- Barre District W.S.C.S. to her church in Tunkhannock.
