Peters, Carverton Road, Trucksville.

ise, nine, and Holly Christine, fifteen
months. Mrs. Peters is the former
Phyllis Rosenblatt, Catasaqua, Pa.

Meet At Prince Of Peace
March meeting of Dallas Junior
Woman's Club was held at Prince
of Peace Church with Mrs. Joseph
Borton presiding.
Secretary’s and redsuror’s re-
ports were given by Mrs. Fred Tem-
plin and Mrs. David Alderson.
An invitation was received from
Dallas Senior Women’s Club to join
them in a dinner meeting at Irem
Temple Country Club.
Mrs. Joseph L. Reynolds III, gen-
eral chairman of the spring meet-
‘ing of Luzerne County Junior Wo-
men’s Clubs, announced that the
meeting would be held at Fox Hill
Country Club- Saturday, March 30,
and that the Dallas Junior Woman's
Club would be hostess. On recom-
mendation of the executive board,
the club voted to contribute $1.00
toward the cost of the ticket of each
member attending.
Completion of arrangements for
members taking the New. York trip
to see “Mr. President” was an-
nounced by Mrs. Thomas Decker.
Mrs. David Alderson reported on the
meeting she attended for the pro-
posed community building.
Mrs. John A. Diffendafer intro-
duced the guest speaker, E. S. Rad-
cliffe, who discussed conservation
and Frances Slocum State Park.

Beaver Patrol, Girl Scout Troop

nosebag lunches eaten, and marsh-
mallows toasted.
Members of the’ Patrol complete-

Diane Reese, Carol Hicks, Lyda Mor-
gan, Marian Barnard, and Rita Yar-
nal.

Shavertown Scouts
Wednesday afternoon Cub Scout
Pack 233, Shavertown, visited the
‘Pennsylvania Game Commission on
the Harveys Lake Highway. There
were about 60 Cub Scouts and 15
adults. Mr, Kisch displayed tanned
skins of a’ grey fox, red fox, mink,
otter, muskrat, and several other
skins. There were also four rattle
snakes that rattled for the boys.
They also saw two films and had
a tour of the building including the
two-way radio system.
