Military Honors For
Isaac S. Buchman
Military honors were accorded a
veteran of World War I Tuesday
afternoon when Isaac S. Buchman
was buried in Mt. Greenwood Cem-
etery following services from a
Wyoming funeral home, conducted
by Rev. William Watson.
Mr. Buchman died Saturday af- |
ternoon at Veterans’ Hospital after

Lehigh, he had lived in Center More-
land for thirty years.
He was a retired State Highways

ber of Wyoming Veterans of Foreign
Wars, Post 396.
Surviving are his widow, the for-
mer Laura Icziesiak; children: Ber-
nard, Dallas; Thomas, Evans Falls;
Richard and Frances, at home; five
grandchildren; brothers: Edward, Jo-
seph and Carl, Wilkes-Barre! sisters:
Mrs. Margaret Brown, Wapwallopen;
Mrs. Myrtle Corrigan, Mrs. Florence
Murphy, Mrs. Lillian Hannigan, and
Mrs. Helen Desmond, all of Wilkes- !
Barre.
Requiem Mass For
Jaceb Novicki
Rev. Francis Brennan, with Rev.
Richard Frank in the Sanctuary,
celebrated a Mass of Requiem for
Jacob Novicki Friday morning at’ St.
Therese’s, and Father Brennan pro-
nounced the benediction at Mt.
Olivet Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Bernard No-'|
vickim Eugenes ' Prushko, Robert,’
Richard and John Kaleta, and Ste-
phen Dudek. Mrs. Robert McDowell
was organist and soloist.

the Elmira Telegram. He had also
been employed by the Times- Leader

He was a member of St. Mary's
Church and its societies. Survivors
are his wife; son, John, Bloomsburg;
one grandson; brother, Carl, E. Chi-
cago, Ind.
Funeral was held Saturday morp-
ing from St. Mary’s Church. Inter-
ment was in Hanover Township
parish cemetery.
