died Saturday morning at Mercy |
Hospital where he had been admit-|
ted on Wednesday. A Mass of |
Requiem was celebrated Wednes- |
day morning from St. Francis Cab

Mr. Timko, 50, drove a school bus |
route for twenty years when Clar- |
ence Meyerr of Huntsville had the
Dallas area school bus contract.
He was born in Plains, son of Mrs.
Anna Timko, Plains, and the late
John Timko. He was a member of
St. Francis of Cabrini and its: Holy
Name Society, and Dallas PTA.
Surviving in addition to his moth-
er are his wife, the former Irene
Duda of Carverton; daughters, Mrs.
Lawrence Berry, Wayne, Mich.; and
Christine Ann, at home; three
grandchildren; brothers, Michael,
Andrew and Joseph, all of Plains;
sisters, Mrs. Andrew Berecin, Mrs.
Joseph Kristan, Mrs. William La-
comis and Mrs. Stephen Washko, all
of Plains; and several nieces and
nephews. 3

Roy Trexler, Supervisor of the
Nontheast Division, Pennsylvania
Game Commission, was - elected
president of the Lutheran Brother-
hood of St. Paul's Lutheran Church
last week; Ted Woolbert vice presi-
dent; Walter Gosart, secretary and
William Dungey, treasurer.
Plans were made for a Roast Beef
Supper, April 27.
The group voted to send a do-
nation to Frederic Anderson, dJr.,
for purchase of Christian literature
for the library in the newly con-
structed Lutheran Student Center
in Taipei,
Formosa.

Had Stroke 5 Years Ago
An eighty-six year old man who !
returned five years ago from |
Conecticut to his former home on
Perrin Avenue, Shavertown, died
Saturday afternoon at Nesbitt Hos-
pital where he had been admitted
three weeks earlier.” Alvah P. Wil-
son had been bedridden at home
for five years, following a stroke,
attended by the wife whom he |
of ill health earlier in their married
life.
During his previous residence in
Shavertown, Mr. Wilson had car-
ried on the barbering business in
his own basement, a sideline to a
contracting business which was
his main occupation. Moving to
Connecticut twelve years ago, he
and his wife lived with a daughter
Mrs. Ila Lou Robideaux until her
death.
A native of Stillwater, he had
also lived in Kingston, where he
belonged to Westmoor Church of
Christ.
