Ross School Open House
Attracts 100 Parents
Open house was observed at Ross
Elementary School January 16,-at-
tracting approximately 100 parents.
Parents and teachers exchanged
views, each helping the other to
better understanding. The well
planned evening included visiting
rooms, and viewing exhibits from
7:30 to 8:10, at which time parents
took the place of their child at his
desk, while the teacher in each
room outlined the day's work and
activities, answered the parent's
questions, offered helpful sugges-
tions for the students.
A social hour in the auditorium
concluded the program. Mrs. Mar-
garet Bogdon, PTA area vice presi-
dent was chairman, assisted by
Mesdames Charles H. Long, Sue
Hoyt, Richard Culver, and Eleanor
Williams.
Program was conducted by the
principal, Myron Moss, assisted by
teachers, Mrs. Smart, Mrs. William
Labar, Mrs. Celia O'Leary,
Lois DelKanic, Delbert Hines, and
the school nurse, Mrs. Jean Moledor.
Horseshoe 4-H Club
The Back Mountain Horseshoe 4-H
Club met Saturday at the Lehman
Fire Hall for a regular business meet-
ing and two demonstrations on‘ the
Horse's front and hind leg, given by
Judy and Nancy Crispell.
