East Dallas: won by 60-54 with a big scoring effort in the 3rd period. Shavertown came back strong in the final quarter but the gap was just too big to overcome. The first half was anybody’s ball game with East Dallas leading by 2 points at inter- mission. East Dallas used a well balanced scoring attack with 4 players hitting in the double figure bracket led by Fred Lamoreaux’s 20 points. Fred had a perfect 8 for 8 from the free throw line.
