SECTION 1: That the following
described roads situate in Kingston
Township all being, in the consid-
ered judgment of the Supervisors
of said Township, necessary for the
public convenience, are hereby laid
out, adopted and opened as public
roads’ of said Township, as follows:
(a) FRANGORMA DRIVE: ALL
THAT PARCEL of land, being thirty-
three (33) feet in width and sixteen
hundred thirty one and 5/100
(1631.5) feet, more or less, in
length, improved with a macadam
road, the center line of which is de-
scribed as follows: BEGINNING at
a point, said point being the Easter-
ly line of the intersection of Fran-
gorma Drive and West Hillside
Street in Trucksville, Kingston

Scranton Country Club
William E. Gross, 100 Franklin
Street, Dallas, who is pardonably
proud of membership in the Coun-
try Club of Scranton dating back
to the old clubhouse and golf course
in Green Ridge, and who has been
very active in operation of the
beautiful clubhouse and 18-hole
course in Clark’s Summit since it
was dedicated in 1929, is the new
president of the club. He assumed
his duties immediately.
“Buddy,” as he, is best known
to golfing enthusiasts throughout
Northeastern Pennsylvania, was
elected president at a special meet-
ing of the 15-member board of di-
rectors held December 18 afternoon
at the clubhouse.
He succeeds Dr. Francis P. Bo-
land, Scranton, who has been the
president for the last two years.
Other officers chosen at the meet-
ing are: Miles Erickson, vice presi-
dent and manager of the Trane Co.,
Scranton plant, vice president, and
Howard Warnken, Daystrom Co.,
plant manager, re-elected secretary-
treasurer.
Gross, who ranks with the young- |
est presidents to serve the CC of S,
is general manager of the Metro-
politan Life Insurance Co., with
headquarters at 1575 Wyoming
Avenue, Forty Fort, and ‘has been
an attache of the firm for more
than 30 years.
Bill has been chairman of the
club’s: greens committee the last
15 years and it has often been said

forest watershed management is
operated by School of Forestry.
Studies of water relationships are
underway on three experimental
watersheds. Located on the south
side of Tussey Mountain near Mas-
seyburg, Huntingdon County.

stations were established in 1961 on
low lying watersheds in Hunting-
don County. Cooperating on all ar-
rangements are ithe Pennsylvania
Department of Forests and Waters,
Harrisburg, and the Northeastern
Forest Experiment Station, U. S.
