in to visit relatives and friends in

Ladies Society, St. Luke's Lu-
theran Church held their annual
Christmas party at the Parish Hall

Noxen Volunteer [Fire Company
was called to extinguish a fire at
Lewis Hackling’s Nursery on Lake
Road on Wednesday afternoon. The
interior of the structure which con-
tained® numerous wreaths
Christmas plants was entirely
gutted by flames which ate through
the building. It had to be torn
down. The loss is estimated at one
thousand dollars. It was not

Billy Coole shot a bob cat weigh-
ing around thirty pounds, on Sun-
day.

Mrs. Arthur Blizzard on Saturday
were: Mrs. Bruce Sutliff, Brooklyn,
N. Y., Mrs. John Malloy and daugh-
ter, Mrs. Florence Lapp and daugh-
