Production Records
Seven local registered Guernsey
cows have éompleted DHIR produc-
tion © records,” milked twice daily
while on test, “according to the
American Guernsey Cattle Club.
Six are owned by Andrew J. Sor-
doni, Harveys Lake, and one by Ray-
mond Goeringer, Dallas.
Sordoni’s Sterling Farms cows had
these records: Sterling Lyma, 5, 11,-
050 pounds of milk and 575 pounds
of fat in 287 days.
Sterling D Flutter, 5, 10,390 and
631 in 305 days. Sterling Mopsy,
senior four year old, 9,440 and 529
in 291 days.
Sterling June Belle, jumior three
year old, 9,570 and 505 in 305 days. |’
Sterling Carla, senior two year old,
9,070 and 471 in 305 days. Sterling
Alyce, junior two year old, 8,990
and 519 in 305 days. ..
Lake Louise Welcome Hermes Fall,
junior three year old, completed a
record of 10,330 pounds of milk and
521 pounds of butterfat in 279 days. |
Philadelphia Weekend
Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Costigan
and son, Buddy, attended the Army-
Navy game in Philadelphia last
weekend and were guests of Col.
Joha R. Wagner, Washington, D. C.,
brother of Mrs. Costigan.
After the game all enjoyed a din-
| ner at Shayers’ Restaurant, Phil-
adelphia’s oldest.
