Monday night after school the
Dallas faculty held a surprise party
in the Home Economics Room,
honoring Mrs. Kershner, who was
leaving to accompany her husband
who was transferred to Philadel-
phia.
She had been teaching Home
Economics since the beginning of
this’ year. Money donated by the
faculty was spent for a lovely um-
brella given as a going away
present.
Mrs. Louise Prothero poured tea
and coffee, which was served along
with a decorated cake and ice
cream roll.
