When the young couple was mar- ried at the turn of ‘the century, they came to live in the home built by Silas Boston, the groom's grandfa- ther, who was granted one-hundred- sixty acres by the government in | ‘Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Boston Married Sixty-two Years, November 21 1843. Mr. and Mrs. Boston are still living in the original homestead, which through the years has been remodeled and restored. When Silas Boston died, the original parcel of land was divided ‘between his sons, with eighty acres going to the late Ezra Boston, who in turn left it to his son, the present owner. Mr. J. E. Boston, who was eighty-three last March, was born in the home in ' which he now resides, the farm be- ing in the family one-hundred-nine- teen years. Mrs. Boston will be seventy-nine December 23. Mr. Boston is‘ now a retired farm- er, but at the time of his marriage was employed as woodsman in the town of Ricketts, earning one-dollar and twenty-five cents a day.
