At a very pretty wedding, Satur-
day at 2 p.m., Sandra Lee Swire, |
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac
Swire of Noxen became the bride
ley. Rev. B. Kirby Jones performed
the double ring ceremony before an
altar banked with palms and ferns, |
in Christian Church, Sweet Valley.
Mrs.

her father, wore floor length gown of
Chantilly lace and nylon styled
with tight bodice with sweetheart |
neck lined edged with pearls and
iridescents, full bouffant skirt and |
long tight sleeves tapered at the
wrist. Her elbow length veil of
French illusion fell from a coronet
of pearls and sequins and she car-
ried a Colonial bouquet of white
carnations and lilies of the valley.
Maid of honor, Diane Swire, sis-
ter of the bride of Noxen, selected |
knee length gown of yellow nylon |
y and lace fashioned with round neck-
line, short sleeves and cummer-
bund. Her head piece was of yellow
flowers and matching veiling and
she carried a Colonial bouquet ‘of
blue carnations.
Bridesmaids were Patricia Swire |

| Valley, wore accordian pleated taf-
feta frocks of orchid and blue and
| carried baskets of mixed flowers.
Mrs. Swire, mother of the bride,
| wore street length light blue bro-
| caded taffeta dress, navy acces-
I sories, and shoulder bouquet of
pink carnations and Mrs. Shaw,
mother of the bridegroom, royal
| blue dress, black accessories and
red carnations.
| Best man was Timothy Shaw,
brother of the bridegroom and
lets Thomas R. Swire, brother
| of the bride of Hunlock Creek R.D.
and Wilbur Shaw, brother of the
bridegroom of Sweet Valley. Ring-
bearer was Tithothey Shaw, nephew

tion was held in the church parlors
