Regular meeting of Ladies’ Aux-
iliary, Noxen Fire Company, was
held Monday evening at the Fire
Hall. Plans were discussed for a
Christmas party. Present were:
Mesdames Chester Keiper, Calvin
‘Strohl, Oscar Fish, Earl Beahm,
Charles Engelman, Carl Siglin, Ira
~ Beahm, Joseph Nalbone, Guy Fritz,
and Michael Traver.
Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Fish spent
the holiday and weekend with Ber-
nice Fish, Hamilton Square, N. J.
Sympathy of the entire commun-
ity is extended to’ the family of
Mrs. Francis Belles who was stricken
so suddenly . and taken from her
family.

visited Mrs. Lula Stevenson, Som-
merville, N. J., who is in the hos-
. pital, with a broken hip.

familly, West Pittston, spent Thurs-
day with the Fred Schencks.
Mr. and Mrs. Philip Shafer and
family, Philadelphia, spent the holi-
day weekend with her mother, Mrs.
Dorothy French.

Hess, Sr.
‘Wheeler Hess, Sr., will enter the
General Hospital on Monday and is
scheduled for major surgery on
Thursday.
