Mrs. James Worth, general chair- man, was at her wit's end when Dick stepped into the breech. From close watch at rehearsals, Dick was able to pick up the pieces, and steer Staged to raise money for band uniforms, -the show was presented in Lehman elementary cafeteria, the former high school gymnasium which is smaller than it once was, but retains its large stage. The capacity crowd was de- lighted with the variety acts, and impressed with Dick’s smooth per- formance. Dick had only one day’s notice to prepare for a stellar role. Mr. Kanyuck, was laid low with a twenty-four hour blitz which is going around, and was unable to take his classes on Friday. The show embraced a wide range of talent.
