One group, convoyed by Don Weidner, visited the equipment in the basement and the press room, while the second group saw what happens when a piece of “copy” is delivered to the linotype machine. Editor Howard Risley instructed the second group. Fifteen minutes later, the groups changed location, to permit each child to see everything. Mrs. Russell Lawry, leader, had made arrangements late in October for date that would be convenient.
