William H. Fehr’ of Dushore, passed away Sunday evening at the Good Shepherd Home in Allentown. Mrs. Fehr, who would have been 86 on December 2, was the mother of Mrs. Leonard Heverly, Skyview Avenue Dallas, and had resided with her for a number of years. The former Lydia Rohn of Naz- areth, she and Pastor Fehr were well known in the Back Mountain, her husband having served a pas- torate in Dushore for 23 years. He was a former president of the North- eastern Synod of the Lutheran Church in Pennsylvania. In addition to her daughter, Mrs. Heverly, she is survived by these children: Mrs. Geoge Kahler, Naz- areth; Mrs. Paul Waltz, Endwell, N. Y., Joseph Fer, Johnson City, N. Hackling, 82, Dies At Home In Noxen Joseph E. Hackling, 82, retired leather ‘roller for Noxen Tannery, died Saturday morning at his home in Noxen after a two weeks illness. Services were conducted Monday afternoon from the Nulton Funeral Home by Rev. Wesley Kimm, pas- tor of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Noxen. Burial was in St. Ga- briel’s' Cemetery, Coles Creek. Mr. Hackling was born in Sweden, son of the late John and Helen Lindquist Hackling. He came to this country as a boy, lived in Noxen for thirty-five years.
