Mrs. Richard Traver Improves At General Rushed to General Hospital in Noxen ambulance late Monday after- noon, Mrs. Richard Traver, Stull Road, is in “fairly good’’ condition after undergoing emergency oper- ation immediately on arrival. Feeling severe abdominal pain that afternoon Mrs. Traver went to Lake Noxen Clinic from which she was sent ‘te the hospital by Dr. Lester Saidman. According to her son Richard, Mrs. Traver had not been feeling well for the past two days, but did the wash Monday anyway. Albert Goble and Kenneth Cuddy, manning the ambulance, used the .siren the whole way. On the return trip, the ambulance passed a hitchhiker ‘in Kingston, Richard, Jr., who did not learn the identity of the patient until he! arrived home. Richard walked from) work in Kingston to Dallas before | getting a ride. \ Students Help Keep Noxen Law-Abiding Constable Michael Traver reports that Hallowe'en passed off without incident in Noxen, a contrast to last year when air was let out of seventy tires and other malicious mischief abounded. He ‘attributes the good order to the fact that a number of high school boys, lead- ‘ers among their schoolmates, were enlisted to keep an eye on things.
