She was buried in Denison Ceme- tery Monday afternoon, of Dallas Methodist Church acting as pallbearers. She was the choir’s oldest member, though not able for the past several months to take ° part in the services. Her pastor, Rev. Russell Lawry, conducted services from the Disque Funeral Home. Bearers were Arthur Miller, Richard Oliver, Donald Wil- liams, James Darling, Donald Weid- ner, and Dr. David Kunkle, Mrs. Welch, a native of Hudson, had lived in Dallas since = 1926. She was a member of Dallas Meth- odist Church and Brickel Sunday Schoo] Class. Mrs. Welch was active in Dr. Henry M. Laing Fire Auxiliary until disbanded and was for a number of years Inspector of Election in the South Voting District. Her husband was custodian of Dallas Borough Grade School Build- ing until his retirement last year. She is survived by her husband Henry; a son William; a brother Thomas, Ohio; sisters: Mrs. Nellie Ralston, Niagara Falls; Mrs. Harry Gross, Baltimore; Mrs. Albert Haines, Vestal, N. Y.; Mrs. Alfred Ramsey, New York; Mrs. John Hughey, Hudson; grandchildren Wil- liam J., Debbie, and Cheryl. Dallas Methodist WSCS Bazaar, Chicken Dinner November 10 Dallas Methodist WSCS will stage its 11th annual bazaar for support of its mission on Saturday, No- vember 10.. The bazaar itself, colorful ‘with fancy work, odds and ends, snacks, bright aprons for the home kitchen or for party wear, enchanting things for Christmas, snacks, home-made candy, will be held in the large ground floor room of the new educational building. Sale opens at 11 am. On the same level, in the church basement, the chicken and biscuit dinner will be served, starting at 5 p.m. Tickets may be obtained in advance or at the door. Dallas Methodist WSCS is famous for its church dinners. The price is right, and there is always plenty to eat. Biscuits and pies are home-made. Mrs. Lois Daniels Lilley Dies At Geisinger Center som Road, East Dallas, died Friday night at Geisinger Medical Center, where she had been a patient for several weeks. Her husband Charles was and still is hospitalizd at Geis- inger. Mrs. Lilley was buried Tuesday morning at Memorial Shrine, follow- ing services from Disque Funeral Home conducted by Rev. William Watson, pastor of Center Moreland Methodist Church. Mrs. Lilley, a native of Nebraska, 2 daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Daniels, lived for some time in California, moving to East Dallas thirteen years ago. She belonged to Tart Dallas Methodist Church, making many friends in the Ella Moore Memorial Bible Class. Her intesests centered about her home and her garden. Her husband survives, also a son Charles, Jr., at home. A brother, Rev. Kenneth Daniels, and two sis- trs, Mrs. Hazel Ferguson and Mrs. Gladys McCusker, live in California. Pallbearers were Frank Bowman, Robert Hollowbush, Joseph Vinso, Edwin Sikorsky, George Picton and Robert Mason; honorary pallbearer, Mark Gimberling.
