Lehman Woman's Club
Holds Business Meeting
The Lehman Woman’s Club met
Wednesday, at the Lehman Fire Hall
with Mrs. Thomas Brown presiding.
Business included a report by Mrs.
William. Cole on the successful sale
held recently in the Lare Building,
Luzerne.
The club also voted and approved
the revision of the by-laws. Mrs, Ed-
ward Skalicky was chairmangland
her committee of nine members pre-
pared the revised edition for the vote
of the club.
Program for the October ming
was interesting demonstration of Fall
decorations by Mrs. Leonard Adam-
shick. :
Members on the serving commit-
‘tee were Mesdames Edward Jones,
chairman, William Cole, James Ken-
ney, and Robert Steele.
The club is holding a Lapboard
Party on Friday, at the Lehman Fire
Hall. Chairman for this event is Mrs.
Francis Feral with Mrs. Fred Peters
co-chairman.
Dallas MYF To Make
Booth Festival Drive
Dallas Methodist Junior and Sen-
ior MYF, will make the annual col-
lection of food and money fogethe
Booth Festival for benefit of M¥tho-
dist Orphans Home in Johnson City,
and of Sky Lake, this Sunday. Mem-
bers, identified by name cardggs will
start at 6:30 for a tour of the Mea.
Residents who wish to contribute
may give money or canned goods.

On November 11, Dallas Metho-
dist Church will be host to all other
MYF organizations of the area. The
Booth Festival will be set up as a
display, with each church exhibiting
what it hag collected.
The Booth Festival has been an
institution, a great help to upkeep
and support of the orphanage, and
more recently of Sky Lake.
St. Therese's Society
Lays Plans For Sale
Mrs. Edward Petty was hostess
last week to members of St. Therese's
Altar and Rosary Society, when
further plans were laid for the Bake
Sale following all masses October 28.
Co-Chairmen Mrs. Adrian Del#hrco
and Mrs. Petty ask members to co-
operate with the telephone squad.
