Rainbow Girls number 270 mil-
lion, active in forty-four states and
fifteen foreign countries. Pennsyl-
vania, says Mrs. Hopkins, has over
21,000 Rainbow Girls. Ages are be-
tween 12 and 20. It takes a year
and a half to go through all the
chairs leading to Worthy Advisor.
As "each office requires a speaking
part, in which the girl must be letter
perfect, the organization fosters
poise and ability to speak in public,
developing future community lead-
ership.

among the eighty seven sworn into
the U.S. Army on August 25 and
