way for the Jonathan R. Davis
Volunteer Fire Company’s third an-
nual festival August 31, September
1, 2, and 3 opposite the fire hall, on
Harvey's Lake Highway at Idetown.
The Festival will feature a wild-
life display by the Penna. Game
Commission, a flower and garden
produce stand, white elephant
stand, refreshment stands, bake
sale stand, and an assortment of
rides for the kids.
There will be a drawing held each
nite and a door prize will be
awarded. A drawing will be held
the last night of the festival at
which time the following prizes will
be awarded:
1st Prize, Color Television; 2nd
Prize, Rotary Lawnmower; 3rd
Prize, 4th Prize,
Electric Mixer;
Fishing Kit. f
Chances for these four prizes can
be purchased from any member of
the fire company.
The Lake-Lehman Band will open:
the: Festival on: Friday evening,
August 31, and will be followed on
Saturday evening by a German
Band and Sunday evening by the
Kathleen Sweeney Revue.
The Festival will be highlighted
by a parade to be held on Saturday,
Sept. 1st at 4:00 P.M. and will dis-
play various pieces of fire equip-
ment, antique cars, and an array of
floats, one of which will carry our
