Lake Silkworth. Families will

Joseph Haines, son of Mr. and
Mrs. George Haines sustained a
double fracture of the right arm
while fishing off his grandfather's
dock at Lily Lake last week. He was
taken to Nesbitt Hospital where Dr.
S. M. Davenport applied a splint. He
will observe his sixth birthday
tomorrow. \

spending a nine-day camping trip,

cessful and the customers were very

In addition to value packed days,
Friday and Saturday the merchants
have combined to offer a $50 cash
award that is to be drawn Saturday
afternoon at 6 o'clock, and free ice

Luzerne being one of the oldest
shopping centers in the Valley,
customers from the Back Mountain.
Parking is always available through
the courtesy of Luzerne National
Bank and many of the stores .are
open both Thursday and: Friday
evenings.
The merchants plan to continue
the cash awards for several weeks.
If you are planning to attend this

present identification cards for pur-
poses of recertification of eligibility
