land, left July 14th by jet airliner
from Idelewild Airport, N. Y., for
a month's visit with her daughter

don Hess, in Kailua Chau, Hawaii.

son. . Mrs. Jackson is a sister to
Florence Weaver of Center More-

all of Dallas, spent the weekend

Ernie has completed one year at
Yale Divinity School, studying for

A six pound, seven ounce soh was
born last week to Mr. and Mrs. Ross
Williams, Shavertown. The new
arrival is ‘named [Ross Stephen.
Mrs. Williams is the former Wilma
Hess. The Williams also have a
daughter, Florence Ann, age two.
Mrs. Sterling Crawford, who with
her husband, operated the store in
Center Moreland for a number of
years, flew to Cologne, Germany, by
Air Swiss, a chartered plane, July
14th where she is visiting friends
and relatives. Mrs. Crawford also
plans to tour Sweden and Rome,
and ‘will return home August 22nd.
Mr. and Mrs. James Sickler and
family, former residents of Center
Moreland, have recently returned
after being in Arizona for two years
where Mr. ‘Sickler was employed
by the Government.
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Welch, Dav-
enport Street, have arrived in Or-
lando, Florida, where they are
spending some time with Mrs.
Welch's sister and husband, Mr.

Trucksville, after being a surgical
patient at Nesbitt Hospital.
Mrs. George Seelandt, Huntsville
Road, has returned after spending
some time with Mrs. William Wil-
liams and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ben-
nett, Long Island, N. Y. Mrs. Seel-
and is a former resident of Long
Island, but on the death of her
husband, moved to Dallas to be
near her brothers, William Davis,
Elizabeth Street, and Walter Davis,

Jo An Moyer, niece of Mr. and
Mrs. Russell Coolbaugh, and fre-
quent visitor at Lehman, just re-
turned after spending a week in
New Mexico.
Chief of Police and Mrs. Russell
Honeywell returned Saturday from
a five day trip to Canada, where
they took in the country around
Lake Ontario and Lake Erie, saw
Niagara Falls again, and surveyed
the Great Lakes from a high tower
on the Canadian side.
