The State Library gave a special
fund of 150 to have the volumes mi-
| crofilmed.. The county library has
had them bound in book form.
They are easier to use than the
| originals and can be replaced if they |
| are damaged or lost. It is also possi-
ble for anyone to buy these books
! who would like to add them to his
own collection of local histories.

The final step in construction of
a swimming pool at Our Lady of
the Pines, vacation home for nuns
owned by Villa St. Theresa, Dallas,
was taken at Harvey's Lake Thurs-
day.
The pool was filled through the
courtesy of the Idetown Fire De-
partment. Equipment is shown in
the background.

Hoffman, Sylvan Lake, June 24.
