Festival a hugh success.
All the Auxiliaries did their part
and had fine representation, but
I know only two or three women
from them: Being a member of the
Shavertown Branch, I must “blow
our horn,” as the saying goes.
I really believe that about eighty
per cent of our members were pres-
ent at some time during the day, as
I could look around, and at one time
count ten or twelve ladies from
our Branch visiting and working
very hard, then other times seeing
members among the large crowd.
Qur Branch had three booths, the
plants: and flowers, drygoods and
needlework, and artificial flower
arrangements.
For me, it was an exciting day,
and a great joy to feel I belong to
such a fine group of women, who do
so much good fer the hospital.
