ESCAPES INJURIES School Board Secretary, Vernon A. Cease, miraculously escaped in- jury Thursday, June 21, on the Ash- ley By Pass when the Pennsylvania Water & Gas Co. truck which he was driving was struck head-on by a car operated by Russell E. Boyer of Taylor, who either fell asleep or blacked-out. To add insult to in- jury, the car operated by Raymond T. Ziomek of Wilkes-Barre, crashed into the rear of the truck. No one was injured with the exception of Mr. Boyer who received facial wounds from his broken eyeglasses. All three vehicles were badly dam- aged.
