Festival on the Hospital Grounds |
Wednesday June 27, from 10 A.M. |
to 9 P.M, in commemoration of its |
50th Anniversary. ’
A parade will precede the Festi-
val (starting at 9 A.M. from Scan-
lon Field, corner of Union Street
and Wyoming Avenue) travel down
the Avenue to Division Street. Col. |

will be assisted by Dr. and Mrs. |
Robert Peters.
A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will
be held in front of the Hospital at
10 AM. officially opening Festival
Day.
Twelve Booths will be manned by
members of the Auxiliary wearing
red and white candy-striped aprons,
the official Festival uniform. These
booths will offer everything found
in the old Country Store to
Christmas decorations, plants and
floral arrangements, home-baked
goodies, candies and roasted pea-
‘nuts, gifts and wearing apparel for

vey’s Lake Rod and Gun Club, is
open to all boys and girls through
age fourteen, Campers are trans-
ported by bus.
The program each morning in-
cludes flag raising and devotions,
games of low organization, lead-up
and team games, and quiet games.
Following lunch and rest, campers
participate in crafts Mondays and
Fridays and nature study, hikes,
etc, on Wednesdays. The final
period of each day is devoted to
swimming at the Alderson Metho-
dist Church dock at Harvey's Lake.

years he was employed by Air Pro-
ducts Inc, and before that, worked
with Harold Ash as a plumber.
During World War II he served
with the Air Force, and was in the
B17 which made the first United
States attack on Berlin.
He leaves his wife, the former
Doris Hess; two daughters, Suzanne
and Claudia, at home; two sisters:
Mrs. Esther Hardenbergh of State
College, and Mrs. Mae Johns, Sheri-
dan, Wyoming.
