Mr. and Mrs. Oswald Griffiths,
Upper Demunds Road, Dallas, cele-
brated their thirty-third wedding
anniversity quietly at their home
on Monday, June 18.
Mrs. Griffiths is the former Grace
Ichter, daughter of the late Mr. and
Mrs. Robert Ichter of Ashley. Mr.
Griffiths is son of the late Mr. and
Mrs. William Griffiths of Wilkes-
Barre. The couple was married in
the St. Stephens Episcopal Church,
Wilkes-Barre. They are now active
members of the Prince of Peace

Cadet Richard C. VanEtten, Jr., son
of Mr. and Mrs. Richard C. Van-
Etten, 57 Meadowcrest, Trucksville,
received his diploma Sunday, June
| 10, at commencement exerc'ses at
Manlius School, Manlius, N. Y.,
" He served as sergeant in A Com-
pany, played company football, ‘ani
was on the company rifle team. He
was a cheerleader and Chapel War-
den, a member.of the Phoenix
Rifles, Radio Club, Science Club,
and yearbook staff. He won the
Military Merit ribbon and Chapel
Warden’s ribbon. { :
He plans to enter Bradley Uni-
versity in the fall.

Grace, an accomplished pianist, is
accompanist for Mary Jean Stroud
at Wyoming Seminary Day School
during the school months. Os is
co-owner of Jordan the Hatter, Nar-
rows Shopping Center.
They have one child, Jack, teach-
er at Somerville, N, J., and one
grandchild, Danny. The younger
Griffiths and Danny spent the week- |
end with their parents and attended
the Polisky-Bachman wedding on
Saturday.

and accompanied her to Lansdale,
Pa. where thoy were week-end

at the University of Rochester com-
mencement on Sunday, June 10.

Mrs. Mease is a graduate of Ship-
pensburg State College. She has
been teaching. The bridegroom was
graduated, from Elizabethtown Col-
lege. He is a statistician.
